Give a tax-deductible donation to the Animal Services Trust Fund in honor of someone special? Pick up a donation certificate at Animal Services in person or by mail.

And if you want to give a gift that keeps giving back unconditionally, how about getting an adoption gift certificate for that someone who is looking for a pet? The pre-paid adoption fee certificate allows the recipient to select the best dog, puppy cat or kitten that suits their lifestyle and personality.

The Florida Animal Control Association (FACA) has presented Animal Services with the 2009 Animal Control Agency of the Year award along with other top honors for its efforts in saving the lives of thousands of shelter pets each year.

In an effort to help control the pet overpopulation, Miami-Dade Animal Services offers $15 spay/neuter services for cats, thanks to a grant from the Florida Animal Friends and donations to the Animal Services Trust Fund, every Thursday at the shelter located at 7401 NW 74th Street, Miami, FL 33166. 

In an effort to help control the pet overpopulation problem, The Clydey Foundation and Miami-Dade Animal Services will offer donor-subsidized ($30 owner co-pay) spay/neuter services for dogs, every Tuesday starting Feb. 2.
