As part of NBC 6 and Telemundo 51 nationwide push to place deserving animals in new homes, Animal Services is participating in "Clear the Shelters" Day on Aug. 15, from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., by waiving adoption fees (adopter responsible for $27 license fee) on all dogs and cat.
Adoption includes spay/neuter surgery, microchip, and age appropriate vaccines.

Don't surrender, stay together
When the unexpected happens, you don't have to part ways with your pet. Find out how Animal Services' Pet Surrender Prevention Program helps pet owners find a solution that fits their specific need so that they and their beloved furry family member can stay together.
Spay/Neuter surgery options for income qualified pet owners
Animal Services is subsidizing a program that offers low-cost spay/neuter surgeries for the pets of eligible low-income dog and cats owners at participating private veterinarians. And, for pet owners who meet eligibility requirements, the spay/neuter service is free at the shelter.
Free app to help protect your best friend
Animal Services has partnered with Finding Rover, a free mobile app that helps pet owners registered find their lost dogs in real-time using facial recognition technology.
