Give Back and Make a Difference -- Be a Volunteer!

Miami Dade Animal Services is a great place to volunteer! It is a place where you can learn a lot, make new friends and have tons of fun, all while making a positive impact on the lives of animals. If you are interested, please review our Eligibility Requirements page.

We welcome volunteers (15 - 17 must be accompanied by an adult) who would like to donate their time and are interested in making a difference. There is an orientation session and introduction to the services and philosophy of the Miami Dade Animal Services as well as a discussion of current volunteer opportunities.

Volunteers must pass a background check.
