For-Hire Chauffeur

Drivers of all for-hire vehicles must obtain a chauffeur registration from the Consumer Services Department. Drivers must meet eligibility qualifications such as driving record and criminal background checks, and must attend certain training programs conducted by the Department's Passenger Transportation Regulatory Division. View more information on For-Hire Chauffeur Training.
