Cooperative Extension

The Miami-Dade Cooperative Extension is a joint project of the Consumer Services Department and the University of Florida. The division services commercial growers, home owners, families and youth and the marine community with a broad range of programs covering areas such as:

• Commercial Crop Agriculture Education
• Commercial Landscape Maintenance
• Pesticide Applicator Training
• Florida Yards and Neighborhoods Upgrading 
• Home Lawn and Gardens
• Master Gardener Training
• Expanded Food and Nutrition Education 
• 4-H Youth Development 
• Sea Grant Extension
