Adopt-a-Tree 2011 Event Schedule
Adopt-a-Tree events take place rain or shine! We will post the tree species available for each event, on the Monday preceding the event. There are at least four types of available trees at each event -- before coming to the event, check to see if the trees we're offering are the kind you would like to have. Please arrive early to ensure that the tree species that you want to adopt is still available. Tree species are subject to change. A valid picture ID is required to participate.
Tree quantities are limited at each event and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Due to financial constraints, the Adopt-a-Tree program is unable to deliver or plant trees in 2011. We do encourage all eligible residents of Miami-Dade County to attend the scheduled event of their choice and there will be American Disabilities Act accommodations provided at the events. For more information, or if you require special assistance at the event, please call the Environmental Education & Communications Office at 305-372-6784.
