Welcome to Adopt-a-Tree 2011!
The Adopt-a-Tree program completed another successful season in 2011, helping thousands of Miami-Dade County residents "plant for the future." Almost 6,500 FREE trees were given to residents this year, bringing the total to more than 163,900 FREE trees given to our community since this program started in 2001.
Miami-Dade single-family or duplex homeowners are eligible to receive 2 FREE trees per year, even if they have adopted trees in past years.
Trees reduce air-conditioning costs by providing shade, while the extra landscaping improves a home's appearance. Trees also help increase a property's real estate value.
Stay tuned for updates on the Adopt-a-Tree program. You can also sign up to receive updates via email about Adopt-a-Tree and other community events.
