(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Residents in District 1 will enjoy a film under the stars, as animated characters take to the silver screen during Movie Night. On Saturday, January 28, residents in North Dade will be treated to a free movie at Country Village Park, 6550 NW 188 Terrace, in Miami, beginning at 7 p.m.
“I am looking to implement more activities that foster a sense of community in District 1,” said Commissioner Jordan. “Movie Night is an ongoing series that allows families to enjoy the outdoors and spend quality time together.”
Families will enjoy free popcorn, hot dogs and refreshments, while supplies last. Everyone is encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and other items that will create a comfortable setting during the movie.
Movie Night is funded by Commissioner Barbara Jordan, and is administered by the Miami-Dade County Parks Foundation. For more information, contact Commissioner Jordan’s Office at (305) 474-3011.
