Commissioner Monestime delivers holiday cheer to more than 400 children in District 2


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- On Sunday, December 19, 2010, Commissioner Jean Monestime distributed more than one thousand pieces of toys to the children of District 2 at Northside Centre, 7900 NW 27th Avenue. More than 400 children, along with their parents or guardian, lined up in the courtyard to receive a Christmas gift from the Commissioner.

“I am excited about the opportunity to put smiles on the faces of the children and to ease some of the burden parents face due in these hard economic times,” said Commissioner Monestime.
