The westbound SR 836 flyover to southbound SR 826 will be closing soon. To access SR 826 north or south, drivers on westbound SR 836 will need to exit earlier at the NW 72 Avenue/SR 826 exit, right after NW 57 Avenue. Please view the flyers for more information and plan your commute accordingly.

Commissioner Sosa, Chair of the County's Economic Development and Social Services Committee that oversees the Port, took part in the International Sister Port Signing Ceremony between PortMiami and the Port of Livorno, Italy.

Apprehensive over costly medical co-payments that quickly exceed annual coverage limits, Commissioner Sosa presented a resolution urging Congress and the Florida Legislature to require insurance companies to provide equivalent coverage of oral and intravenous cancer drugs. 

Social Security Administration is pleased to introduce you to their improved Spanish-language website, www.segurosocial.gov, and the expanded online services available in Spanish - including the ability to apply online for retirement and Medicare benefits, completely in Spanish. 

This is an important step toward making Social Security's online services and information more easily accessible to the 35 million Americans who may prefer to conduct business in Spanish. 

La Administración del Seguro Social se complace presentarles su mejorado sitio de Internet en español, en www.segurosocial.gov, y la amplia serie de servicios disponibles en español - incluso la habilidad de solicitar los beneficios por jubilación y la cobertura de Medicare por Internet, completamente en español.

Este es un paso muy importante para hacer que los servicios e información del Seguro Social por Internet sean fácilmente accesibles a los 35 millones de personas quienes tal vez prefieran tramitar sus asuntos en español.
