Consolidation and Transfer of Vendor Services
The Adopted Budget for Fiscal Year 2009-2010 includes the consolidation of vendor services in a "One-Stop Shop" in the Department of Procurement Management to better serve Miami-Dade County vendors. The staff for various vendor services has relocated to Suite 1300 of the Stephen P. Insurance Process for Vendors
Vendors must have the appropriate insurance in order to be awarded a County contract. Effective January 1, 2010, for future contract awards, vendors must submit their insurance certificate(s) within 10 business days of notification by Procurement staff of a recommendation for award. Awarded vendors are required to maintain the appropriate insurance coverage throughout the term of the contract. Please note that this is for information only. You do not have to send in a certificate of insurance at this time.
