Solid Waste Enforcement
The Department's Waste Enforcement Officers canvass neighborhoods and commercial areas to ensure that residents and business owners are in compliance with Chapter 15 of the Miami-Dade County Code.
Waste Enforcement Officers monitor and inspect general haulers to ensure that they are properly permitted for transporting solid waste over the streets of Miami-Dade County. Additionally, Waste Enforcement Officers are responsible for the secure transportation and delivery of debris to permitted solid waste disposal facilities.
