(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- The Miami-Dade Department of Solid Waste Management (DSWM) is making free mulch available on a first-come, first-served basis. The mulch offered is made from recycled Christmas trees and is a fragrant reminder of the holiday season. Residents must bring their own containers to receive the mulch.
Mulch is available at the following locations (all locations are open seven days a week, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m):
North Dade Trash and Recycling Center, 21500 NW 47 Avenue
Golden Glades Trash and Recycling Center, 140 NW 160 Street
West Little River Trash and Recycling Center, 1830 NW 79 Street
Sunset Kendall Trash and Recycling Center, 8000 SW 107 Avenue
Eureka Drive Trash and Recycling Center, 9401 SW 184 Street
Please note, mulch will only be made available to residents served by the Miami-Dade DSWM (those who live in unincorporated Miami-Dade County and the municipalities of Aventura, Cutler Bay, Doral, Miami Gardens, Miami Lakes, Palmetto Bay, Pinecrest, Sunny Isles and Sweetwater).
