mun2 television Seeks Aspiring Participants for Upcoming New Shows; The Network is Looking for Singers and Independent Filmmakers to Showcase Their Talent…
mun2 television is offering Latino singers and independent filmmakers the opportunity to showcase their work in two of its upcoming new shows. "La Familia Perfecta," a one-hour reality show that profiles the lives of six new artists, is casting singers between the ages of 18 to 25, while "The Reel Project", a show that exposes independent film makers and their movies, is looking for up-and-coming filmmakers.

"La Familia Perfecta," a co-production between mun2 and Perfect Image Film and Video Production, will profile six young and talented artists, who will bring to life the immense trade-off that exists for reaching success in the music industry. Viewers will have the opportunity of getting a close look into the lives of these artists as the cameras of "La Familia Perfecta" follow them from the moment they courageously step out of the safety of their own homes and families, to the anticipation of traveling to the labels, learning to compromise during the composition and selection of their songs, and dealing with the negative or positive reactions from the labels. Tapings of the show will begin July 1, 2004 and individuals interested in participating need to send a VHS demo including a personal profile and music presentation by May 31st 2004 to: Perfect Image Film and Video Production, Att: "La Familia Perfecta", 2628 NW 97th Ave Miami, Fl
33172.

"The Reel Project" is a new original production that will serve as an outlet to promote new filmmakers and their short films. All types of short films and features are welcome and will be open for consideration. mun2 will air the movies or documentaries in a format that will also include behind the scenes footage and b-roll and commentaries regarding the struggle or joy it took to make the film.

Interested parties should send a VHS or mini DV tape along with contact information, biography and information regarding the content of the work including own rights to the movie to Mario Garibaldi: "The Reel Project" to mun2 television at 2470 W. 8th Avenue Hialeah, FL 33010. For questions please e-mail reelproject@mun2television.com .

"mun2 is always developing new ways that allow our audience to determine what goes on our air, fulfilling our commitment to present programming that truly reflects their lifestyle," said Yolanda Foster Vice President of Programming at mun2. "We're delighted to launch these two new projects and provide outlets to up-and-coming artists who want to achieve their dreams and expose their work."
