Adjustments to utility allowance effective January 1, 2012
Public Housing and Community Development (PHCD) will be making an adjustment to its utility allowance effective January 1, 2012. This adjustment is due to changes in utility rates determined by the utility companies. The new utility allowance will take effect on the resident’s next rent adjustment review or reexamination.
PHCD maintains records that document the basis on which the utility allowance has been established and revised. These records are located at your site manager’s office, where residents can request a copy of the schedule and/or inspect them during business hours. The deadline to submit written comments to your site manager on the proposed adjustment is November 30, 2011.
