| The Transportation Planning Council, or TPC, has
ultimate responsibility for the technical adequacy of the MPO
programs that are presented to the
Governing
Board for approval and adoption. It is chaired by the MPO
Director and members are directors of county, and various
municipal, departments involved in the transportation planning
process.
These entities include:
The TPC relies on the LRTP
Steering Committee, TIP
Development Committee, TPTAC, and the
UPWP Development Committee, and also
establishes inter-agency task forces and special committees to
ensure coordination of important concerns as needs arise.
Meetings are held monthly and are open to the public. |
