| The MPO Governing Board is responsible for guiding
the transportation planning process and approving projects for
Miami-Dade County. The MPO Governing Board is comprised of:
In addition, the
Florida
Department of Transportation (FDOT) has two non-voting
members. The Governing Board is vested with the responsibility for
exercising the powers of the MPO, including the final decision
on all policy matters, adoption or endorsement of transportation
plans and programs, adoption of budgets, approval of agreements
or contracts, adoption of rules, and establishing or changing
its internal operating structure. Meetings are held at 2:00 PM in the following location:
