The Life Science Park will create synergy in scientific discovery through the expansion of research initiatives across the University of Miami and especially the Miller School of Medicine. It is envisioned to serve as a hub of innovation seeking to advance biotechnology and real world application.
Location: NW 7 Avenue, between NW 17 Street and NW 20 Street, Miami, Florida.
Land Parcel: Approximately 7 acres
Square Footage: 1.4 million (projected)
Use Mix Potentials (GSF): Office/conference (725,000); Research (725,000); Retail (77,000).
Timeline: Phase I to begin construction 2009 (projected).
