Be part of the magic November 21 - January 9! Celebrate the holidays with the First Annual West End Christmas Tree Lighting on Nov. 21 at 7 p.m.
Santa Claus is visiting the Deering Estate at Cutler
On Dec. 14 & 21, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., children can enjoy Story-Time with Santa in the historic Stone House Ballroom next to the beautiful 16-foot Christmas Tree. Guests can take their own photos with Santa or take a professional photo for an additional fee.

Zoo Lights: Dec. 20 - 30
Guests can enjoy thousands of beautiful animal-shaped lights and dazzling tree lights as they stroll the zoo during the nine nights of Zoo Lights.
And don't miss the Holiday Breakfast with the Zoo Squad on Dec. 21 at 8 a.m. Watch the animals open their specially-prepared gifts during Holiday Gifts for the Animals.
Winter Break Daze at Zoo Miami
For the most fun, safe, and educational winter break camp, enroll your kids in Zoo Miami's Winter Break Daze where they will be immersed in the world of wildlife and conservation. For ages 4 - 9.
Free “Speaking Sustainably” Lecture Series
Hosted by FIU's School of Environment, Arts and Society (SEAS) and the Deering Estate at Cutler, ''Speaking Sustainably'' is a lecture series offered free to the public to engage the community with critical environmental issues and to inspire action. Lectures will be held in the Visitor Center Auditorium.
Fit2play® After-School Program, Aug. 19 - June 5
Fit2Play® is available in 41 park sites, Monday - Friday, from 2 - 6 p.m. Activities for kids, ages 6 -14, will focus on fitness, nutrition and wellness, while developing their appreciation of nature, science and the cultural arts.
Heads Up: Concussion in youth sports
To help ensure the health and safety of young athletes, CDC developed the Heads Up: Concussion in Youth Sports initiative to offer information about concussions to coaches, parents, and athletes involved in youth sports.
The Heads Up initiative provides important information on preventing, recognizing, and responding to a concussion. It's Better to Miss One Game Than the Whole Season!
