Celebrate Independence Day at Black Point Park and Marina
Celebrate Independence Day, Monday, July 4, 2016, with an all-American day at the park followed by a spectacular fireworks display at Black Point Park and Marina, 24775 SW 87th Avenue, Cutler Bay. Admission is free, (excludes marina).

Free personal training session, July 12
Join Troops for Fitness instructors during a free one hour personal training session in a state-of-the-art outdoor Fitness Zone area at Gwen Cherry Park. The once-a-month free community training program is held at Gwen Cherry Park, 7090 NW 22 Avenue.
Morning Mile returns to Live A Park Life Summer Camps
Miami-Dade Parks and AvMed celebrate the five-year anniversary of the Morning Mile as an integral part of the Live A Park Life Summer Camps. Children start the day at summer camp by walking or jogging one mile. For every five miles logged, children receive a sneaker charm to add to their collection. Join the summer bash at Tropical Park Equestrian Center on July 26 and 27 at 10 a.m.
Register for the Mayor's Youth Golf Tournament, Aug. 14
The Youth Golf Championship aims to build and support a strong foundation of organized sports in Miami-Dade County through a series of sport championships coordinated by us. It is part of the Mayor's Youth Sports Championship Series.
Register for summer camps
"Live A Park Life Summer Camps" will run from June 13 through August 12 (select sites open through August 19).
