Florida Master Naturalist Program Freshwater Systems Course at Deering Estate

See Miami Differently

Kayak and snorkel off Key Biscayne, bike through scenic trails or join a nighttime owl walk. We also offer programs for students from K-12, and nature camps for your children. Learn about adventures and programs you can enjoy by visiting our Nature Centers, or become a volunteer to join our team of nature enthusiasts.

Events to attend this holiday season

Zoo Miami will open at night for a special holiday event with more than half a million bright, animal-shaped lights and dazzling tree lights every Friday and Saturday in December, plus the week of Dec. 26 - 30 from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. Celebrate the holidays at the Deering Estate with an exciting line-up of events for the fmaily. Sip on hot chocolate, nibble on holiday cookies, listen to the sounds of the Yuletide Carolers and more.
