The final concert of the 2010 Summer Cabaret Concert Series will be held in the historic Stone House Ballroom at the Deering Estate on Saturday, August 28th. The concert will feature Folk Singer Bob Ingram.
Bob Ingram, a Coconut Grove native, resided at the corner stone of a flourishing folk scene in the '60s and '70s singing by the Bay. He has toured and entertained audiences now for five decades with his broad folk music repertoire and humorous stories. He is truly a Florida original and greatly respected in folk and pop music circles. He has performed with David Crosby, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Jimmy Buffett, Fred Neil, Gail Garnet and many others.
The gate opens at 7 p.m. for the 8 p.m. concert at the Deering Estate. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to secure preferred seating in the Stone House Ballroom and are welcome to bring refreshments and snacks to enjoy during the show. Tickets are $20 and are available online. Limited seating is available. Advance tickets are recommended.
