The Port of Miami is preparing to publish many new websites to enable its customers to conduct business over the internet 365 days a year 24 hours a day.
Applying for Credit
Companies wishing to request 30 day credit at the Port of Miami (POM) may submit a credit application  . By entering your name, title and corporate information in the application, your company expressly authorizes POM to inquire, verify or obtain any information they deem necessary related to your credit standing and represent that you intend the entry and submission of this information to function as a legal signature. Submission of this application also attests financial responsibility, ability and willingness to pay POM invoices in accordance with the terms outlined in the current Port of Miami terminal tariff No. 010.
Prepaid Scale Program
The Pre-paid Scale Program helps speed up traffic flow and significantly reduces waiting times at the Port’s cargo gates. Enrolling in the Pre-paid Scale Program enables you to use any of the Port's inbound scaled cargo lanes at a cost of $7.50 per usage. Companies not enrolled pay $10.00 cash per scale usage.
The Pre-paid Scale Program allows trucking companies to view trucking activities and scale expenses on a real-time basis, while realizing a discount per scale usage.
