Florida State Statutes require that all motor vehicles, vessels and trailers in Florida be registered and/or titled.

If moving to Florida from out of state, Florida law requires that you register and title your vehicle in Florida within thirty (30) days of becoming a resident, becoming employed, or if you have children attending school in Florida.  Contact any tag agency for further details.

The Miami-Dade Tax Collector acts as agent for the State of Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.
