Distribution of Property (Ad Valorem) Taxes

There are a number of different government taxing authorities authorized to levy the taxes which appear on the tax bill. State law requires the Miami-Dade County Tax Collector to collect all taxes imposed by the various taxing authorities within Miami-Dade County; however, the Board of County Commissioners only imposes a portion of these taxes depending on the location of your property.
