Transit service during the Ultra Music Festival 2014

Transit is an easy and convenient way to get to and from the Ultra Music Festival 2014 taking place at Bayfront Park in downtown Miami from Friday, March 28 to Sunday, March 31, 2014.

Metrorail and Metromover service will be extended to 1 a.m. and Transit Supervisors will be available to assist passengers as needed. Please note that Metromover is FREE for all patrons.

  • Tri-Rail will also be providing extended service for Ultra Music Festival

To avoid long lines at the ticket vending machines at Metrorail stations, MDT is encouraging all Ultra Music Festival goers to purchase and load an EASY Card or EASY Ticket prior to the event. Metrorail and most Metrobuses charge $2.25 per trip ($4.50 round trip). Those who will be using public transit throughout the day are encouraged to purchase a 1-Day Pass for $5.65. This pass allows for unlimited travel on Metrobus and Metrorail until 2 a.m. the next morning.

Both EASY Cards and EASY Tickets are available at EASY Card ticket vending machines located at all Metrorail stations, at the Golden Glades Park & Ride lot and at more than 130 EASY Card sales outlets located throughout Miami-Dade County.

For more information on how to obtain an EASY Card or EASY Ticket, or about transit schedules, event goers can call 305-891-3131, Monday-Friday, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. TTY users can call 305-499-8971. Transit users are also encouraged to communicate with MDT via Facebook (MiamiDadeTransit) and Twitter (@IRideMDT) and sign up for Rider Alerts to keep up with the latest MDT information.
