Transit service during the Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run

Transit is an easy and convenient way to get to and from the Mercedes-Benz Corporate Run taking place at Bayfront Park in downtown Miami on Thursday, April 23, 2015.

Metrorail and Metromover service will provide regular weekday service. Please note that Metromover is FREE for all patrons.

Purchasing your Metrorail Fare:

To avoid long lines at the ticket vending machines at Metrorail stations, MDT is encouraging all Corporate Run attendees to purchase and load an EASY Card or EASY Ticket prior to the event. Metrorail and most Metrobuses charge $2.25 per trip ($4.50 round trip). Those who will be using public transit throughout the day are encouraged to purchase a 1-Day Pass for $5.65. This pass allows for unlimited travel on Metrobus and Metrorail until 2 a.m. the next morning.

EASY Cards can be purchased at the following locations:

  • EASY Card Transit Vending Machines, located at all Metrorail stations and at the Golden Glades Park and Ride
  • EASY Card Retail sales outlets – List of available locations
  • Transit Service Centers:
    • Government Center Metrorail Station - 111 NW First Street – Second Level
      Open weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
    • Overtown Transit Village - 701 NW First Court – Suite 121
      Open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.


Parking is also available at various Metrorail stations for $4.50 a day, including weekends and holidays, and can be purchased at the Ticket Vending Machines located at all Metrorail stations.



  • Is FREE for all patrons
  • Metromover arrives frequently
  • Will provide regular service until 12 midnight


  • Costs $2.25 per trip ($4.50 for a round trip)
  • Metrorail will run regular weekday service


Route 95 buses - Golden Glades and Dade/Broward Express – will pick up passengers at the Wilkie D. Ferguson Metromover station (at the corner NW 5 St & NW 1 Ave)

Due to a re-alignment of the race course, the following routes will service passengers at the Culmer Station (701 NW 11 St) :

  • Routes 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 11, 21, 51, 77, 93, 120, 207, 208, 277, C & S

The following routes will service passengers at the Brickell Station (801 SW 1st Ave) :

  • Routes B, 6, 8, 24, 48, 207, 208

The following routes will be detoured from 6:30 pm to 9 pm on Thursday, April 23, 2015:

For more information on how to obtain an EASY Card or EASY Ticket, or about transit schedules, event goers can call 305-891-3131, Monday-Friday, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. TTY users can call 305-499-8971.
